APPLICATION PROCESS

When you complete the application, you must enter the same password you used to create your NABNE Profile and make a note of the email you used. If you forget your password, DO NOT create a new Profile, because this will cause problems when it’s time to access your Registration Status or download your Admission Ticket. Instead, use the Password Reset link to create a new password. The Reset Password link you receive in email is good for one use only. Once you have created a new password, you will need to return to the Applicant Portal to log in to your Dashboard.

Determine your eligibility to take the NPLEX.

You are required to pass the Part I – Biomedical Science Examination before you will be allowed to take the NPLEX Part II – Clinical Science Examinations.  Current NABNE policy does not allow applicants to take both the Part I and Part II Examinations within the same NPLEX administration. See Eligibility Requirements.

Have the following items/information ready:

  • Create a scanned or digital copy of your current government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, government-issued ID card, passport photo page, or passport card). The first and last names on the ID you upload must exactly match the first and last names you enter on the application form. The image you upload should be in a .pdf, .jpg, .or .png format, and be less than 1 MB.

The email address you use on your application will be the same email you will use to access your NABNE Dashboard, Registration Status, Admission Ticket, and exam results. Examples of permanent emails would be Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
